Founded in Philadelphia, still here, still growing

Building stronger communities, focused on abilities over disabilities.

"Every young person deserves a safe space to grow, heal, and thrive — regardless of the challenges they face."

Children of Paradise Inc. was established to directly address the most pressing issues facing Philadelphia's young people: community violence, mental health crises, and barriers faced by youth with disabilities.

We are an Abilities Over Disabilities movement and independent living leadership development network — advocates for the Disability Act of 1990, effective policy-making, and community building.

From peer mentoring to our annual gala, from monthly game nights to scholarship awards — our youth don't just receive support. They become advocates.
